Kent is an introverted writer who has an alter ego. The superhero origin film stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent. Man of Steel is an action/adventure film, directed by Zack Snyder and scripted by David S. When Superman learns of General Zod's existence, he vows to do anything he needs to do to protect his adopted world. Unlike Superman, General Zod uses his unique gifts to try to destroy the world. General Zod (Michael Shannon) is also from the planet Krypton, and he also possesses the same phenomenal gifts as Superman. Unfortunately, not everyone is happy with Superman's efforts. He also took it upon himself to protect the world from anyone or anything that wanted to cause harm. Eventually, Clark began to use his powers to aid police in catching bad guys. Luckily, Clark's job as a newspaper reporter gave him the inspiration to use his abilities to make Earth a better place.
As Clark grew older, he alienated himself from others because he was embarrassed of his exceptional abilities. In fact, it was obvious Clark wasn't just talented, he actually possessed superhuman abilities. However, it didn't take Jonathan or Martha long to realize that there adopted son was unique from other kids his age. When Clark arrived on Earth, the Kents took him in and raised them as their own. When the planet began to die, Clark's biological father, Jor-El (Russell Crowe), sent him to Earth in hopes that his young son could live a happy and safe existence on the healthy planet. Clark was born on a planet called Krypton. From the time, Kent was a young child, his parents were honest with Kent about how the trio became a family. Kent is extremely close to his adoptive parents, Jonathan (Clark Kent) and Martha Kent (Diane Lane). During the daytime, Kent spends his time writing monotonous news articles and spends his free time with his girlfriend, Lois Lane (Amy Adams), who is totally unaware of Clark's secret identity.
